First Person Spell Action Arena

Overview:

Conjury Revell is a first person action game where you use your magical spells and abilities to eliminate waves of faceless oppressors as they attempt to keep you from rebelling against the system!

Technology: Unreal Engine 4 (Blueprint/C++)

  • Prototyped initial functionality of several spells

  • Implemented destruction gravity spells

    • Debris scattering ​with damage 

    • Gravity Gun for prop grabbing and throwing

  • Enemy spawner airships that follow a spline

  • Created designer friendly animating cog blueprints

  • UI Input Routing for supporting keyboard/mouse

    • Solution for controlling mouse visibility and focus

  • Implemented Exploding Barrels

  • Created drone blueprints that can path, be grabbed, thrown, and exploded

  • Implemented several Spell Effects using the Gameplay Ability System

  • Designed generalized activation, physics prop, and grabbable interfaces for global interaction and effects

  • Implemented environmental props with spell activation and area of effect damage

  • Created designer friendly airships that move along a spline and trigger checkpoints and objectives​​

  • Implemented and debugged saving and respawning in the airship level

  • Implemented Destructible pistons tied jointly to objectives

  • Worked on Volumetric Clouds in Airship level

  • Created and debugged grabbing, throwing, and shattering of destructible props
